In the United States of America, the month of November is recognized as National Veterans and Military Family Members month. The red poppy is a nationally recognized symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars. Stop in the library to make a poppy and honor a veteran this Veteran's Day!
