National Superhero Day, celebrated annually on April 28, was created in 1995 by Marvel Comics employees to honor both fictional icons and real-life heroes who make a positive impact. The day encourages celebrating individuals who protect and inspire, such as first responders, community helpers, or personal role models. 

If you were a superhero what would your name be? What superhero powers would you have? All good questions to ask your little artist as they decorate their very own superhero mask! Drop in to the Children's Department of the Kinnelon Public Library and make yours today before we run out!
